M&M’s World in Las Vegas

Address: 3785 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109

M&M’s World in Las Vegas is the first store that opened up in 1997. It’s 28,000 square feet, 4 stories level building with a 3D Movie Theater. It’s located in S Las Vegas Boulevard close to the Coca Cola World and Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen. It’s a must-stop place for chocolate lovers and when you are in Las Vegas.

We were impressed with the colorful and bright design on the outisde of the building with the M&M’s candy character. There were a lot of people coming in and out of the building. My daughter’s eyes widen and she smiled at us as we walked inside the building. The place is created for all chocolate lovers and it’s a chocolate haven. Each floor or level offers a wide variety of different M&M merchandise and candies. It’s one big chocolate place with all the M&M-themed merchandise. Everything that we saw was branded with the M&M candy characters such as candy dispensers, t-shirts, key chains, bags, trinkets, ornaments, clothing items, magnets and many more. All the M&M’s you could imagine or want in one big place.

One of the unique things that caught our attention is the option to personalized or create your very own one-of-a-kind M&M’s with a personal printer combining customized messages and the different variety of the candy dispenser design. My daughter immediately grabbed a bag and filled it with all the different colors or flavors of M&M’s to satisfy her sweet cravings and bought a few candy dispensers with the M&M candy character.

We then proceeded on the 4th floor where we took a picture of the famous replica of Nascar racer Kyle Busch’s #18 M&M’s sponsored Nascar. The racing car was very attractive, colorful, bright and a lot of people were waiting in line to take a picture with it. There was a lot of unique and colorful M&M racing merchandise and candies.

Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area

Address: 1000 Scenic Loop Drive, Las Vegas Nevada 89161

Red Rock Canyon is a National Park located in Clark County and situated in Nevada’s Mojave Desert. It’s composed of 200,000 acres and 30 miles of amazing hiking trails, rock climbing, and mountain biking. The rocks moved with the earth’s tectonic shifts. A faults shifting involuntary moved the gray sedimentary rocks towards the red rocks which caused the colorful stripes on the red rocks. Its area is mostly composed of red Aztec sandstone cliffs and it is Nevada’s first National Conservation.

The Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area is open from 6 a.m. until 8 p.m. and 7 days/week. We drove for 30 minutes and about 14 miles from Bellagio Hotel where we stayed. We passed through a few Casinos along the way and it is about 5 minutes away from the Red Rock Casino and the Summerlin area.

On our way into the entrance, we saw a big sandstone rock with the name “Red Rock Canyon” etched on it near the entrance of the National Park. We were greeted by a Park Ranger and the entrance fee is $15 per car but we got in for free since we have an annual National Park Pass. We drove through the entire 13 miles one-way scenic loop for about 2 hours due to us stopping on each Vista Point/ Rest Area for a photo opportunity. Most of the Vista Point on the way has clean public restrooms. While driving through the 13 miles one-way scenic loop, we were all amazed at the gorgeous views of the Red/orange colors of the Aztec sandstones and some have unique colorful stripes. We even took a few pictures of the sun setting down through the top of the mountains that created a picture-perfect view. A small signage on the road that states “watch out for tortoise crossing” caught our attention and we had to look for a tortoise on the road. (LOL…) The speed limit on the 13 miles one-way scenic loop is between 15-25 mph.

Overall, it is a very unique and well worth experience for us to explore Red Rock Canyon since we were supposed to visit Grand Canyon but end up not going due to scattered thunderstorms.  Red Rock Canyon is also known for its geological features such as the towering red sandstone peaks, the Keystone Thrust Fault, as well as the Native American petroglyphs.

Tips: The Red Rock Visitor Center is closed due to Covid restrictions. And there are about 26 different hikes and trails and I heard that “Lost Creek” is an easy hike for kids. Watch out for bees and insects, I would recommend wearing a good hiking shoe with a good grip due to slippery rocks. Drive slow and respect nature. Bring your own water and food as it was 115 degrees during our visit. (July). Pay attention to the weather changes as we encountered having zero visibility while driving on the freeway due to a storm, torrential rain, thunderstorm, and a flash flood.

Seven Magic Mountain (Las Vegas)

Address: S Las Vegas Blvd Las Vegas Nevada 89054 ( Clark County)

Seven Magic Mountain opened in May 2016 and scheduled to be open for 2 years but was later extended until 2021. The art installation costs about 3.5 million to built and install. It was brought about by the Nevada Museum of Art and Art Production Fund. It’s an innovative, appearance of human existence in the desert. The desert art piece is created by Swiss artist Ugo Rondinone which features 7 colorful, painted boulder that stands 35 feet high in the middle of the desert.

It took us about 27 minutes to arrived at the Seven Magic Mountain from Bellagio Hotel where we are staying. It is located in Clark County and the art installation is visible along Interstate 15 South. From Interstate 15 South we exited towards the Terrible Casino and a gas station. We drove for about 10 minutes going back to where we can from and alongside Interstate 15. We parked on a decent size dirt parking area and also walked through a dirt trail towards the art exhibit.

When we arrived at the parking lot we saw a lot of people and the weather was about 110 degrees, dry, and very humid. We bought a few bottled water, sunscreen, and wore our masks for safety.

Overall, it’s a cute little hidden gem in the middle of the desert with a lot of great opportunities to take pictures. It’s a picture-perfect view due to the arts colorful, bright, and unique large boulders.

Tips: We just stayed for about 15 minutes and took a few pictures. There is a casino close to it called “Terrible” and a gas station. The art installation is on public land and opens from sunrise to sunset. No available public restrooms onsite or other amenities. Prizm outlet (Shopping Mall) and Primm Hotel & Casino are a few miles away from the art installation. Pay attention to the weather changes as we encountered having zero visibility while driving on the freeway due to a storm, torrential rain, thunderstorm, and a flash flood.

Hershey’s Chocolate World in Las Vegas

Address: 3790 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas Nevada. 89109

Hershey’s Chocolate World was established in 2014 and is a two-story shop/candy store with a wide variety of merchandise such as personalized chocolate bars, t-shirts, caps, pants, keychains, mugs, magnets, and many more. It is located inside the New York-New York Hotel and Casino. Opens daily from Sunday-Thursday 9 am-12 am, Friday-Saturday 9 am-1 am. There are more than 800 Hershey’s chocolates and candies to choose from.

We were amazed and attracted by the huge, bright, and colorful signs design of the building. My family especially my daughter immediately ran and took a picture in front of the store with the Hershey’s bar, Kisses chocolate, and the flashy Las Vegas sign. It was a good photo opportunity with all the bright, colorful, and attractive designs as a background.

As we walked inside the store, we were surprised, amazed at all the different varieties of Hershey’s chocolates. It’s a chocolate lover’s heaven and I felt like a kid in a candy store. LOL.. On the first floor, the baked goods area, milkshakes bar, and the unique sculpture of “The Statue of Liberty” that is made out of almost 800 pounds of Hershey’s milk chocolate were all located. While on the second floor, all Reese’s chocolates, special one-of-a-kind Hershey’s merchandise such as keychains, mugs, caps, and the other sculpture of “The Statue of Liberty” that is made out of tons of Twizzlers.

Tips: The big chocolate chip cookies at the baked goods area were so delicious and good. The line to the famous milkshake was very long with longer wait times. And we also missed the opportunity to try the Chocolate Martinis at the chocolate bar. But we will ensure that we get to try them on our next visit. The store has a new flavor of Hershey’s bar such as the Strawberries N’ Cream, Cookies N’ Mint, Birthday Cake, which are sold exclusively at the store only.

Coca-Cola Store in Las Vegas NV

Address: 3785 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas Nevada 89109

The Coca-Cola store is in close proximity to both the ABC and the M&M’s store. It’s open daily from 12 pm to 8 pm but their beverage bar is only from 12-4 pm. The store is very organized as the entrance is on the left side while the exit is on the right side of the store. The store is composed of 2 floors and you would see a variety of Coca-Cola’s exclusive merchandise such as mugs, keychains, t-shirts, bottles, accessories, and many more. I liked the wide array of Coca-Cola apparel that is branded in other languages such as Chinese, Japanese, and Italy.

The best part or the main attraction at the Coca-Cola store is located on the 2nd floor which is the Fountain Bar. The fountain bar offers a tasting area with a choice of an International Tray with 16 samples of Coke from other countries for $15, a Float tray with 8 samples for $11, or the best deal which is the combo tray composed of both the international tray and float tray for $20. We ordered the combo tray package since there are a lot of us and would like to try them all. We all sat together at one table, tasted and rated them all together, and had so much fun. Some Coke drinks from other countries tasted bad while the others tasted better.

Listed below are the 16 sample flavors from the different countries. Stoney Tangawizi- Tanzania, Bonaqua Fruit Apple Pear- Germany, Mazoe Blackberry-Malawi, VegitaBeta- Japan, Dell Valley Jamaica and Nada- Mexico, Fanta Koleta- Costa Rica, Kist Strawberry- Panama, Thums Up- India, Beverly- Italy, Sparletta Sparberry- Zimbabwe, Sprite Cucumber- Russia, Aquarius Libre- Spain, Bjare Lingonberry- Sweden, Inca Kola- Peru, Smart Sour Plum-China and lastly Delaware Punch- Honduras.

While the Float Variety Platter is composed of Coca-Cola Float, Sprite Float, Barq’s Red Creme Float, Pibb Xtra Float, Cherry Coke Float, Barq’s Root Beer Float, Fanta Grape Float, and lastly Fanta Orange Float.

Overall, it’s a great place to visit, have fun, and take a break from gambling, eating at buffets, and lots of walking along the Las Vegas Strip. My daughter bought a long sleeve shirt with a Coca-Cola branded design from Japan. And don’t forget to pose with the giant Coca-Cola Polar Bear before you leave the store.

Marvel Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N. (Treasure Island Hotel and Casino)

Address: 3300 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109

The company behind Marvel STATION is Victory Hill Exhibitions and is an exhibition production and distribution company focused on delivering educational interactive and engaging exhibitions for the Global Market. The Marvel STATION exhibit is located inside the Treasure Island Hotel on the 2nd floor near the escalator, Popeyes, small food court, and the CVS store. There were visible signs on the Casino floor that will lead you to the Avengers STATION.

The admission fee onsite is $42 for adults ages 12 years old and up and $32 for children ages 4-11 years old. There was a line to pay for the admission fee and we went in line again to get into the elevator that will lead us to the exhibit floor on the 3rd floor. There’s also an optional photo opportunity either as a group or individual where you pose on a green wall and choose your background that charges $20 for one picture and $25 for 3 pictures. You will pick up and pay for your Marvel pictures after the end of your tour.

Inside the Marvel STATION, you will learn the science, history, profiles, technology, and profiles of Incredible Hulk, Iron man, Captain America, Thor, and other Marvel heroes. We even saw a variety of extensive range of authentic Marvel Avengers operational equipment on display such as Black Widow and Hawkeye’s uniforms, and weapons. Captain America’s shield and uniform. Hydra’s exhibits had an opportunity to try and pick up Thor’s hammer. The exhibit that interests me was Bruce Banner’s (the hulk) laboratory which showed some interesting materials including a huge hand. We also learned about the backstories of some of the Marvel Characters.

The Iron Man station/exhibit was almost the last exhibit and the most fun for me since we get to see a display of all the uniforms of Iron Man. And the last station of our entire self-guided tour is the group interactive game that allows each player to simulate a fight against Ultron using an individual controller.

Overall, the self-guided tour took us about 30-45 minutes and they have sanitizers available throughout the tour. You get to walk through the self-guided tour of the entire 8 exhibits at your own pace. It’s an awesome exhibit with a fun interactive experience for kids and Marvel Fans. It’s literally a museum of Avengers and their artifacts.

Tips: You can get a good discount and save money if you purchase your tickets online on their website. They provide military and local residents discounts and if you stay at Treasure Island it would be 2 for $50 deals. There is also a photo booth available at the store for a fee which my daughter and her cousin had fun with making funny poses. Public restrooms are available onsite and a small food court is available on the first floor after going down the escalator.
